Learn French with Chloë, A Certified French Teacher (K-12) with a Master's Degree in Foreign Language Education (Ed.M.)

This evening, we attended a discussion about politics in the Middle East with Jean-Pierre Filiu, who is a historian and professor at Sciences Po, the Paris Institute for Political Studies.

The event was hosted by Albertine in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York City.

Drawing on his experience as a former diplomat and diplomatic advisor, the author presented the central argument in his new book, "From Deep State to Islamic State: The Arab Counter-Revolution and its Jihadi Legacy" (2015).

About Learn French with Chloë

My name is Chloë Blake Stevenson. I am a Certified French Teacher (K–12) with an Ed.M. in Foreign Language Education from Rutgers University and a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Reed College.

I have 15 years of experience teaching French to students across a range of proficiency levels, from introductory to Advanced Placement (AP). In particular, I have taught French at Princeton Charter School, The Lawrenceville School, Rutgers Preparatory School, and Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.

Currently, I provide tutoring for students aiming to improve their performance in French at local public and private schools. In addition, I offer French lessons for adults, focusing on Francophiles and working professionals.

I am passionate about the learning and teaching process, and I am eager to share my love of the French language and Francophone culture with all students.
